You need to look at get your truck re-geared too if you get bigger wheels. Your odometer will be off and that really is no fun when it’s inaccurate.
You need to remember that the higher you raise your vehicle, the less safe it becomes. That’s one reason why most people get either a four or six inch rise in their skyjacker lift kits and suspension lift kits even though the maximum is eighteen.
Prices of lift kits differ depending on model and type of lift kit. For instance, the tuff country suspension kit will be a different price than a skyjacker lift kit. Make sure everything is in your budget. Talk things over with your mechanic to make sure you’re getting something you can afford.
